About Us

Welcome to our site dedicated to our wonderful butterfly dogs. My name is Jennifer Raymaakers, our small kennel is located on an acreage outside of a small town called Caroline, Alberta. We only recently made the move from south of Calgary to this wonderful place and are very glade we did, the dogs seem to agree as well. We, My father, mother and my self have owned papillons since 1995 however we didn't really get into showing and breeding until 2002/2003. I bought my first show dog Can CH Marron's Ticket to Ryde because I very much wanted to try my hand at showing a papillon. Obviously it agreed with me as I've been doing it for awhile now. Shortly after I purchased my first female so I could try breeding my own litter of papillon babies. Since then I've imported two others from Germany and bred my own champions and look forward to what will come along in the next years.
In 2004 my father decided that he would like to have his own dogs so he imported his own lovely little girl from Germany CH Liliane Vom Schawabenhof. She has produced some lovely pups which we are very proud of and hope to see more in the next years.
 
Our dogs have been and always will be firstly a member of our family. They have travelled everywhere with us and love to hike, camp and some have even been horseback riding. We would never say our dogs are dainty little show dogs that never get dirty as they love to run and play around the acreage, through mud, snow and anything else they can find to get in to.
 
These last years have gone by fast but we look forward to what the future holds and the new additions to the family it may bring.
